Retiring great Luke Lewis has shared the amazing story of the exact moment he knew he wanted a Clive Churchill Medal.
The 35-year-old joined Triple M NRL's Grand Final show live from outside ANZ Stadium on Sunday afternoon when he was asked how it felt to win the prestigious award.
Lewis then admitted that he actually decided he wanted the medal a full 12 months before, explaining that there was one photo that made him realise how badly he wanted to have that moment for himself.
Lewis also joined in the conversation about Cooper Cronk, sharing his own experience with a rotator cuff injury and revealed who he thinks will win the premiership later tonight.
