With 2016 a season to forget, three Eels SG Ball players have set the tone for a new-look club this year.
Josh Curran, Ethan Parry and Stefan Utoikumanu were on their way to a NSWRL pathways session when the youngsters witnessed a car accident and decided to get out and help those involved, reported NSWRL.com.au.
The three guys helped the people trapped in the vehicles and ended up directing traffic in the aftermath of the incident, as the area became more congested.
“The guy was still in the car, so me and another bloke reached in, undid his seatbelt and pulled his legs out. He climbed out the rest of the way and then got up, brushed himself off and he was fine," Parry said.
It looks like the Eels have some top blokes coming through the ranks.
