Video game studio Big Ant has released some gameplay footage of their new game Ashes Cricket ahead of its release next week.
The game has its own new gameplay engine with graphics motion captured by Glenn Maxwell, while the new animation system makes everything look a lot more fluid.
Catching has been made easier, with a slow motion mechanic to make harder chances easier to snaffle.
The game also has brand new commentary and sound, and is intended to be fully immersive.
“Essentially you believe that you are Glenn Maxwell, you believe you are Steve Smith, you believe you are Joe Root,” Big Ant CEO Ross Symons said.
“It is putting you at the centre of the G, and you feel it.”

The game is out next Thursday the 16th of November.
