The Bombers look set to be busy in this year's trade period, with Triple M's Damian Barrett reporting Jake Stringer and Adam Saad are set to nominate Essendon as their preferred destinations.
Stringer is courting offers from Essendon and Geelong, while Saad appears keen on a return home to Victoria.
Barrett believes both will make it clear they want to play for Essendon.
“They’re going to be active players in this (trade period)," he told AFL trade radio.
“I reckon we’re about 24 hours away from Jake Stringer adding his name to wanting to go to the Bombers.
"I believe (Saad) also will nominate the Essendon footy club as his club of choice.
"That's what I'm hearing from people connected to the footy club he's currently at."
