Adelaide star Rory Sloane is the Triple M Footy Cbus Player of the Week for Round 18.
Sloane became the first Crow to win the award for season 2017 after his sensational performance against Geelong at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
Question marks continued to hover over the 27-year-old right up until the first bounce given he had suffered a nasty concussion only six days earlier.
But not only did Sloane pass all the tests with flying colours, but he went on to produce a best-on-ground performance in his side’s top-of-the-ladder meeting with the Cats.
Sloane ended up with 28 disposals, 15 contested possessions, seven clearances, seven tackles, five inside 50s and three goals to steer his team to a 21-point victory.
The All-Australian onballer’s efforts helped the Crows open up a six-point buffer at the top of the ladder and they are now looking extremely likely to host a qualifying final in seven weeks’ time.
