Know your options 

There are many different paths to quitting and several evidence based quit smoking methods that have helped smokers quit successfully.

Is it going cold turkey, using Nicotine Replacement Therapy, or reducing the amount you smoke before you quit?

We'll talk about this more later in the article but you don't need to go it alone so get help where you can.

Choose a strategy that works well for your situation 

Everybody’s quit smoking journey is different, for many people a combination of strategies works best.

Plan ahead and work out what works well for you. Be aware of your triggers for smoking and remember that it is a continual journey.

Reward yourself as you go along (remember that money you're saving!) and take time out to appreciate the steps you've taken.
