Police Appeal For Help After Attempted Armed Robbery

Police are appealing for public assistance following an attempted armed robbery in Coffs HarbourĀ earlier this year.

A man armed with a dagger style knife entered a liquor store on Park Avenue, about 10am on Sunday 5th March 2017, and threatened a staff member.

The armed man fled the scene on foot empty-handed and no one was injured during the incident.

Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command attended and have commenced investigations.

Following their inquiries, police wish to speak to a man who may be able to with their investigation.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s, approximately between 175cm to 185cm tall, and of solid build.

He is shown in CCTV footage wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, yellow shorts similar style to board shorts, and black gloves.
