A postman has been transported to Mackay Base Hospital after a collision. He was hit by a car on Holland Street yesterday afternoon. The man was treated on scene for non-life threatening injuries before being transported in a stable condition. Two people have had a lucky escape following a truck crash South of Mackay. A truck crashed on the Bruce Highway at Alligator Creek around 11 yesterday morning. The pair managed to pull themselves from the rolled vehicle when it came to rest on its side blocking one lane. They received no injuries and crews worked quickly to clear the scene
