It looks like celebrity deaths were the talk of Facebook this year.
The social media giant has released a list of the most talked about topics in Australia for 2018, giving us a pretty decent snapshot of what we were all liking, sharing and commenting on.
The death of Aretha Franklin was the number one thing on everyone's lips, while the national strawberry crisis came in second.
Naomi Sheppard from Facebook said the deaths of five famous people made the Top Ten.
"We saw many people share and celebrate the lives of people who changed our world in so many different ways such as Stephen Hawking, Dolores O'Riordan from the Canberries and also Avicii," she said.
The Gold Coast made the list at number eight, after a 12-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped from Mudgeeraba back in May, sparking an Amber Alert that quickly went viral.
He was later found safe and well.
