Police investigating Mangrove Mountain crash

Police are investigating after a single-vehicle crash last night

About 11.15pm, emergency services were called to Wisemans Ferry Road, Mangrove Mountain, after reports a vehicle left the roadway and collided with a pole.

The driver - and sole-occupant of the vehicle – a 25-year-old man, was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition, with the Westpac Rescue Helicopter reporting he has suffered head and chest injuries.

Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
